One day pre-conference tutorial on "Efficiency Measurement of Hydroelectric Power Plants" will be conducted on Oct 21, 2010.

The programme shall be coordinated by Prof B.K Gandhi, IIT Roorkee

International faculty will engage the classes and conduct on-hand practice sessions for participants on :

(1) Measurement of hydraulic parameters like velocity, discharge, level, head and pressure

(2) Unit efficiency measurement

(3) Estimation of uncertainties in measurement.
